» Il' Cena Colo
Truly an exceptional dining experience, This restaurant, which is about a 20 minute drive, offers fine northern Italian (Tuscan) cuisine and received a 27 out of 30 possible points from Zagat's. Their wine list is the Who's Who of Italian wines. Don't even bother with the printed menu, as the specials are extensive and extraordinary. The service is outstanding as well (and many of the waiters prepare the desserts themselves). Price for two with a moderate bottle of wine is in the $125 - $150 range. Closed Tuesdays. Dinner only. Reservations a must. Learn more »
» Canterbury Brook Inn
Only a mile away, this restaurant offers a wide range of menu items and was selected "Best restaurant in Orange County" by Hudson Valley Magazine. The owner/chef, Hans Baumann, is a Swiss trained chef and speaks German fluently. Traditional German dishes such as wienerschnitzel and spaetzle are available, but they offer pastas, steaks, seafood, and a roast duck about which our guests rave. Desserts are delectable. Dinner for two with a moderate bottle of wine is about $70. Midweek specials. Closed Sunday and Monday. Reservations recommended. Learn more »
